Health Educational Awareness Activity "Your Health Matters to Us"
The Faculty of Nursing / Career Activities and Guidance Committee at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a health, educational and awareness activity under the title "Your Health is Our Concern", which aims to enhance health awareness among students, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Munir Afishat, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Raz, faculty members and students.
Dr. Mounir Afishat indicated that the university is keen to establish such medical activities that contribute to spreading health awareness about many diseases and the need to conduct tests that contribute to limiting their spread.
Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Raz gave an explanation of infectious diseases and other diseases such as breast cancer, methods of prevention and treatment, anemia and the most important food items that help get rid of this disease.
The activity included several health competitions with the participation of students and faculty members in the college, in addition to the establishment of several mini-health clinics such as the psychological counseling clinic, the eye examination clinic, the breast cancer education clinic, the blood sugar level measurement clinic, the skin care clinic, the vital signs clinic and body mass index measurement.
