The area of this building is 917 m2.
It was constructed to meet the university's need for a base where plans for academic excellence are drawn and and going guidelines are launched to provide a quality education to our students. The building features offices of the president and the Board of Trustees, a conference hall, a visitors' hall the Personnel Department, the Office of the Chief Clerk, and the Public Relations Departments.
The campus includes academic faculty buildings with very beautiful architectural designs that suit their surrounding natural environment and educational purposes for which they have been constructed.
These buildings include:
1. Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Building
The area of this building is 6961 m2 and it consists of two stories with parallel sides and three spacious entrances and two small ones. The grand central theatre is in the middle of the building it has 240 seats. The building has two open sealing areas for the comfort of the students. The building is provided with internal surveillance cameras.
There are 26 lecture rooms with a total area of 1584 m2, nine laboratories equipped with most modern teaching devices, 48 staffrooms for the Dean, the Head of Departments and Instructors. In addition to all that, there are suitable numbers of rest rooms and service facilities for the teaching staff and students. Also, there are two separate rooms for prayers; one for boys and another for girls.
2. Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Nursing,
This building has been constructed with an area of 5715 m2 to become distinguished scientific centre to lead the educational process and contribute to the development of health sectors in the local community by graduating outstanding pharmacy and nursing students. ZUJ pharmacy and nursing graduates have been favorites in the whole region.
This building consists of four storey's with 16 comfortable study halls, provided with all necessary teaching aids totally 980 m2 . The building also hosts forty-eight offices for the teaching staff of both faculties and 17 science laboratories equipped with most up-to-date apparatuses.
The are also places for student to rest and eat. The corridors are wide and rest rooms and services are in sufficient number. An animal house is on of the building for experimenting and dissecting purposes.
3. Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts Building
This building is 6636 m2 in area. It has modern archictural design. It has a natural internal lighting system, a cafeteria and resting yards with skylight. The building has 26 study halls, totaling 1355 m2 in area, two conference rooms for the faculties of Law and Arts, a court hall for simulating real courts of law. There are also seven educational fully computerized language latioratories for teaching modern languages and electronic graphic design. In the building there are workshops for sculpture, drawing and synchrophonic printing and 63 rooms for teaching staff, deans and heads of departments with all rest and service rooms needed for the comfort of students and instructors.
4. Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Sciences and Information Technology
This ultra-modern building was ejected with an area of 10250m2. Its interior and exterior designs are superb in architecture. It has green lots inside and outside of it. It is provided with surveillance cameras and communication towers for the internet and audiovisual teaching aids. The building includes 29 lecture halls, 21 state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the most modern devices suitable for teaching all the specializations of the colleges. There are 89 rooms for the teaching staff of both faculties and a very large auditorium equipped with show and teaching facilities. In addition, there are annexes for health care, rest rooms and comfortable seating areas.
5. Engineering Laboratories and Workshops Building
This building was constructed with an area of 2462m2. Its interior and exterior designs are superb in architecture. It has green lots inside and outside of it. It is provided with surveillance cameras and Communication towers for the internet and audiovisual teaching aids. The building includes 29 lecture halls, 21 state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the most modern devices suitable for teaching all the specializations of the colleges. There are 89 rooms for the teaching staff of both faculties and a very large auditorium equipped with show and teaching facilities. In addition, there are a nexus for health care, rest rooms and comfortable seating areas.
6. Engineering Laboratories and Workshops Building
This building was constructed with an area of 2463m2 in 2011. It is separate from the Engineering Faculty building and it has been built and provided with most modern equipment Specifically for civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural engineering specializations, e.g. laboratories for supplies and survey, drawing rooms for engineering, soil study rooms, mechanical workshops, electrical and network labs. In addition to the above mentioned laboratories, JUZ has specialized labs in each one of its faculties that serve its teaching aims, e.g. scientific and medicinal labs for the college of pharmacy, bed labs for the college of nursing.
7. Lecture Halls
In Al-Zaytoonah University there are very comfortable study halls for its students built with the specifications laid by the Ministry of Higher Education. These halls are provided with systems of lighting, ventilation and central heating to give the students avery congenical learning atmosphere. Some lecture halls are provided with teaching aids like the Data Show.
