Mission Statement:

MIS is devoted to offering a high quality education program at internationally approved standards to meet job market requirements and enable students for managing IT and for developing information systems applications and business intelligence techniques.

Strategic Goals:
  1. Students acquire advanced knowledge and skills in fields of management information systems applications.
  2. Students acquire scientific and technical knowledge in management IT departments and projects.
  3. Prepare systems analysts designers, and business data analysts.
  4. Enable students to work as database administrators in business organizations.
  5. Enable students to work as e-business and e-commerce developers.
Overview  of  Department:

The department of Management Information Systems was established in the academic year 2000 / 2001. The department has 5 faculty members and teaches  430  students. The department has graduated 1368 groups of alumni, with 1368 of these being bachelor degree holders. The department faculty have produced 70 texts of scientific research published in internationally renowned journals. The faculty have also participated in 25 international scientific conferences both locally and internationally.
