  • Prepare and rehabilitate the scientific competence of marketing degree holders.
  • Improve and develop the educational process and undertaking a comprehensive teaching plan to accommodate to the needs of society and required scientific level.
  • Undertake interaction, integration and specialization to build and to prepare capable and qualified expertise in the field of marketing.
  • Motivate students and encourage them to learn, excel and indulge in research and production and contribute in constructive interaction with the community.
  • Encourage scientific research and both scientific and practical studies in different areas  of practice of information technology in the field of products and marketing.
  • Develop methods and means of e-learning and pay attention to sources of educational technologies while adopting the latest references and equipment’s.
  • Create integrative linkage between the administrative staff and academic staff to best serve the educational and scientific process of the department.
 

Overview  of  Department:

The department of  Marketing was established in the academic year 1993 / 1994. The department has 9 faculty members and teaches 215 students. The department has graduated 17 groups of alumni, with 995 of these being bachelor degree holders. The department faculty have produced 45 texts of scientific research published in internationally renowned journals. The faculty have also participated in 11 international scientific conferences both locally and internationally.
 

The most important accomplishments of the Department of Marketing are:

  • Classified as the best marketing department in Jordan based on graduate competence governmental exam for more than once.
  • Offering a  master degree program in marketing.
  • Most staff research work is published in high quality academic journals.
  • Participating actively in the international annual conference of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan.
  • Continued updating  of study plan, text books and curriculum to match the department’s vision and the local, regional and global changes.
  • Organizing an annual exhibition of students’ advertising projects during international annual conference of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
  • Interaction actively with local community, governmental organizations and non-profit organizations.
