Dr. Lubna Badri Mohammed,
I am an Assistant Professor and chair of the Computer and Communications Engineering Department and chair of Power Systems and Control Engineering Department at the University of Al-Zaytoonah in Amman, Jordan. I received my B.Sc degree, in Computer and Control Engineering, from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq in 1994, my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1997, and my Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1999. I am a recipient of the Second Prize in The National Technology Parade 2010 Organized by Ministry of Information and Communication Technology-Jordan, a warded a Certificate of Recognition from The International Journal of Information Technology (IAJIT), as one of the most active reviewers during the year 2008, and awarded the reward of Excellence for the year 2000-2001 at The Rafidain University Collage/Baghdad. The Vitae includes more details about my professional experience, professional development Activities, and publications. I enjoy teaching and am mostly driven by my passion for research. Therefore I would strongly advise prospective students to give my publication listing a chance, in case you wish to work with me. My hobbies include reading, photography, home crafts specially Macrame and Beading work.
My current research interests
In the area of run-time management systems for embedded Multi-Processor System-on-chips MPSoCs. The use of soft computing techniques (Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy logic) and machine learning (Support Vector Machine) to model Natural phenomenons in satellite images in order to build disaster predication system on board.
