About the Center

The Consultation and Community Service Center at Al-Zaytoonah University was established in 2000 to support the university in achieving its vision and mission locally and within the Arab region. The center aims to harness the university’s scientific, human, and material resources to contribute to community development. It organizes specialized courses to serve the local community, training those interested in personal and professional development through programs held on campus that align with scientific and technological advancements. These programs include extracurricular activities designed to enhance the trainees' skills and character, arranging scientific visits to hospitals, electronic companies, and tourist/historical sites according to each specialty, to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This preparation enables the center to continually produce well-equipped graduates with the competencies and skills necessary for life’s challenges.

The center also follows up with students after training by helping them find job opportunities and leveraging their tangible and intangible abilities to serve the Jordanian and Arab communities.

The vision of Al-Zaytoonah University has evolved based on its prominent status among Jordanian universities, reflecting its aspiration to become a competitive institution in the job market, scientific research, and sustainability.

Objectives :

Identify the developmental needs of the local community and increase engagement with it.
Train and qualify community members in fields demanded by the job market.
Provide consultations to the local community in collaboration with the university’s faculties, according to their specializations.
Prepare and train new university employees according to their job tracks and requirements.
Retrain and develop existing university employees to meet institutional and market needs.
Provide students with essential skills for the job market, particularly in language, computer use, and communication. - Sign cooperation agreements and coordinate with civil society organizations and specialized training companies.
