Program Vision

Entrepreneurship and competitiveness at the local and international levels in preparing teachers for the first three primary classes through offering quality-based and distinguished teaching for students to keep up the recent and evolving developments in the domain of preparing teachers.

Program Mission and Objectives:

1. Achieving match between the learning outcomes of the specialties of the major with the specifications of level 7 (knowledges, skills, and competencies) under the national framework of qualifications.
2. Integrating modern information technology and employing it creatively in the learning and teaching processes in order to arrive at a more effective and more efficient education that best satisfies learners’ needs.
3. Achieving actual professional development in the domain of preparing teachers which positively reflects in their educational behaviors in future after graduation when practicing teaching career.
4. Developing students’ ability in using modern teaching methodologies and advanced methods for assessment in a competent and effective manner.
5. Enhancing the principle of sustainable self-learning and accentuating learners’ creativity in light of the international changes through applying miscellaneous strategies for teaching/learning.
6. Boosting learners’ ability of taking responsibility and making decisions in the domain of developing innovative ways for solving problems which they might encounter in their future

Main knowledge
MK1	Understanding the educational and psychological theories, principles and concepts which associate with the major.
MK2	Knowing the major pedagogical and evaluative strategies of teaching and its modern methodologies .
MK3	Controlling the educational and psychological needs and the developmental traits of primary-stage students.
Basic skills
MS1	Creating and organizing a safe and vibrant learning incubator that takes into account individual differences and fits in with students’ propensities, abilities, and learning types.
MS2	Utilizing the teaching strategies, methodologies, and manners and whatsoever assessment strategies, cognitive capacities and information technologies that suit them.
MS3	Designing the educational activities and executing and assessing them in accordance to the strategies and outcomes of learning.
General competencies
MC1	Possessing the skills of leadership initiative and decision-making and the team work spirit.
MC2	Possessing the professional education competencies represented by the ability to design and execute the learning process and assessing its findings and following up the development of students.
MC3	Competencies represented by teachers’ building up strong personality, maturity and wisdom in a way that they can act as models to their students .
MC4	Strengthening the critical and creative thinking in students through providing quality-based education that depends on the modern educational theories.
