Building specialized competencies in the field of nursing, provided with knowledge, skills, leadership, creative, and entrepreneurial competencies necessary to compete in the local, regional, and global labor market through using teaching and learning strategies and modern technology.

Program Mission and Objectives:

  1. Apply student to knowledge, skills, and scientific competencies when providing nursing care and contribute to the development of the nursing profession according to the national qualifications framework.
  2. Enable student to master practical and applied skills related to the nursing profession based on evidence-based practice and use of modern technology in employing these skills.
  3. Promote student’s ability to self-learning, creativity and leadership in light of globalization and global transformations through the implementation of various teaching and learning strategies.

Understand the utilization of evidence-based knowledge in clinical practice, education, and leadership.


Understand critical thinking, clinical judgment, and analytical skills and their roles in assessing, interpreting, and evaluating health conditions.


Understand the recommended guidelines and procedures based on current evidence.

Basic Skills


Apply a relevant evidence-based holistic nursing care to meet the client’s needs based on different health domains.


Practice technology and computer skills necessary for providing holistic nursing care for clients.


Master professional communication and accurate documentation by using information technology skills effectively based on cultural diversity and ethical principles.

General Competencies


Adhere to the professional, ethical and legal standards when practicing nursing profession.


Share health care team members and community-based organizations in drawing up comprehensive action plans for health care recipients.


Communicate effectively with health care team members using communication skills and information technology.


Manage professional competencies based on principles of health promotion and maintenance, and prevention of disease in all aspects of nursing care.


Practice professional nursing with identification of major global health issues such as epidemics and challenging threats and their impact on the economics of healthcare systems.
