Towards a competitive department in the academic programs of science and information technology, scientific research, and community service.
Fulfilling the needs of the labor market of professionals and qualified technical expertise, capable of development and innovation in science and information technology programs, directing the scientific research process to serve the local and regional community, developing teaching and learning methods, focusing on the priorities of national scientific research, selecting qualified and experienced academic personnel, and implementing competitiveness and quality assurance standards.
The department was established in (2001), and the number of faculty members in it is (6) teachers, and now (73) male and female students are studying there, and (20) cohorts have graduated, of whom: (1558) hold a bachelor’s degree. As for scientific research, the number of research by faculty members has reached (104) research published in international refereed journals, of which (92) researches this year are detailed as follows:
