The Multimedia Technology program is one of the most prominent applied programs offered by the faculty of Architecture and Design to keep abreast of developments in the field of technology and industry. The program provides students with the necessary theoretical and practical experience in the field of designing multimedia technology, through the various modules that are offered in various fields throughout the different semesters. This qualifies the student to become a professional in any field of multimedia technology, whether it is design, building virtual and augmented reality, montage, game design, animation, modeling, or photography.
About :
The department was established in 2018. The faculty members are as follows: 1 associate professor, 4 assistant professors, and 2 lecturers. Currently, 290 students do this course, and 2 cohorts have graduated; of whom 75 hold a bachelor’s degree. The number of research papers for faculty members has reached 64 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, and 30 papers participated in international, Arab, and local peer-reviewed conferences to date. The department includes a distinguished group of faculty members of various academic ranks and research interests, who teach theoretical and scientific courses. The department focuses on providing the highest level of academic services and preparing graduates with professional competencies, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills.
