Welcome to the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. Our program is dedicated to developing professional and creative engineers, offering Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees that combines rigorous academics with practical training and capstone projects. Since 2009, we have been committed to fostering innovation, research, and hands-on experience to meet the evolving demands of local and global markets. Our state-of-the-art laboratories and experienced faculty provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the civil engineering field. About :

The Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering was established in 2009 with the founding of the college. It currently has 10 faculty members and about 100 students, with 14 graduating cohorts so far. The department offers a BSc in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Management. The bachelor’s program (160 credit hours) is unique in Jordan as it combines civil engineering with infrastructure, balancing theory and practice. Faculty members are highly qualified, with degrees from prestigious universities worldwide. The department is supported by advanced laboratories in geotechnical engineering, geology, surveying, transportation, pavement design, building materials, hydraulics, and water/wastewater engineering, enriching students’ practical experience and supporting research.

  • Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET [https://www.abet.org], under the commission’s General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

  • The department has received local accreditation from the Jordanian Accreditation Commission.

  • The program is accredited by the Federation of Arab Engineers, further enhancing its professional recognition in Arab countries.
