PUBLIC NOTICE OF UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan announces that it will host a site visit for initial accreditation of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled from 10:00–11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2026, at the College of Nursing, first floor, Class room 13A-207, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. Important Announcement Examinations Committee – Faculty of Nursing
The Examinations Committee of the Faculty of Nursing announces to all students who did not sit for the final exam in the second semester or the summer semester of the academic year 2024–2025, that the Incomplete Exam for all courses will be held on: 📅 Thursday, November 6, 2025 🕚 At 11:00 a.m. Students who have not yet submitted an Incomplete Exam Request Form are kindly requested to complete and submit it as soon as possible. Please note that no student will be allowed to sit for the exam unless they meet the following conditions: The student must be registered for the current semester (First Semester of the Academic Year 2025–2026). The student must have submitted an Incomplete Exam Request Form accompanied by an official excuse for the absence. We kindly ask all students to adhere to the stated conditions and deadlines. Organizing an Advanced Training Activity in the Maternity Simulation Lab to Enhance the Quality of Clinical Education in the Faculty of Nursing
As part of the College of Nursing’s ongoing efforts to enhance practical learning environments and strengthen the quality of clinical education, a distinguished training activity was held today in the college laboratories, during which the MamaAnne Maternity Simulation Lab was introduced and implemented
The activity included the delivery of several maternity nursing simulation scenarios using the MamaAnne simulator. The focus was placed on both the technical aspects of simulation and the application of effective facilitation and debriefing methods that enhance learning outcomes and bridge theoretical knowledge with clinical practice
The College of Nursing team demonstrated outstanding engagement throughout the sessions. Faculty members actively participated in implementing the various scenarios, posed insightful academic questions, and gained hands-on experience with the simulator and its capabilities. This experience highlighted the readiness and growing confidence of the academic staff in integrating advanced simulation technologies into nursing education programs

The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Concludes the Visit of the ACEN Accreditation Team
The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan has concluded the visit of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) team, which lasted for three consecutive days, as part of the evaluation process of academic programs and to assess their alignment with international quality and accreditation standards in nursing education.
The visit included an intensive program featuring field tours to review the faculty’s facilities, classrooms, laboratories, and learning resources, in addition to examining documents, evidence, and academic plans. The team also held a series of meetings with the faculty’s administration, academic staff, and students, reflecting the high level of transparency and readiness demonstrated by the faculty in presenting its educational and training system.
The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Ruz, spoke about the faculty’s outstanding level of preparedness, emphasizing that this readiness is the result of early planning, organized institutional work, and the integration of efforts among academic departments and administrative and clinical units, along with continuous support from the university administration and board of directors. He noted that the faculty ensured the preparation of a comprehensive documentation file and equipped its facilities and laboratories according to the highest standards, in addition to the careful coordination of meetings and sessions, reflecting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Dr. Abu Al-Ruz also praised the significant efforts made by the working teams, academic staff, administrative personnel, and students, noting that their spirit of commitment and collaboration had a direct impact on the success of the visit and in presenting the faculty in an honorable manner that reflects its academic mission and its commitment to developing educational outcomes and clinical training to serve the community. He also extended his appreciation to the ACEN team for their constructive professional feedback, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of its programs in line with best practices and standards.
Important Announcement – Incomplete Exams
The Faculty of Nursing Examination Committee announces to students who did not sit for the final exam in the second semester or the summer semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, or the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year:
They are required to fill out the application form for requesting an incomplete exam, along with the attached excuse, provided that the student is registered in the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
Accordingly, all concerned students are requested to comply with the above and ensure submitting the incomplete exam request.
