Department Tasks:

  • Supervising the planning and development of buildings and university facilities, in terms of readiness, cleanliness, and conducting the necessary maintenance and modernization work, including civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

  • Supervising the preparation of technical reports, and submitting maintenance and repair costs and technical specifications for the required materials and equipment.

  • Supervising the maintenance of equipment, furniture, and photocopiers at the university.

  • Supervising public services at the university, including monitoring CCTV, the office desk, the mosque, etc

  • Supervising food and hygiene services at the university, in coordination with the companies providing those services.

  • Supervising public safety and occupational health at the university, in coordination with the higher committee responsible for this file.

  • Supervising agriculture and irrigation at the university.

  • Supervising the purification station and the well at the university.

  • Supervising the maintenance of vehicles inside and outside the university.

  • Supervising the gas station, in terms of fuel supply, heating boilers and university buses.

  • Follow up and evaluate the performance of the units affiliated with the department, approve their reports, and take the decisions necessary for their work.

  • Preparing the annual plan and annual report for the department.

  • Preparing the draft annual budget and the annual budget of the department.

  • Follow up on the implementation of the department’s quality procedures and models and update them in cooperation with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office

  • Preparing and implementing opinion polls and studies, and benefiting from their results to improve the level of services provided.

  • Supervising the documents room in the department, constantly monitoring its updating, and carrying out procedures for destroying old documents there.
