THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE LIBRARY CONSISTS OF 5 DIVISIONS AS FOLLOWS:

1- ACQUISITION DIVISION 

It is the division responsible for providing the library with information sources (books) paper and electronic of all kinds such as encyclopedias, dictionaries and other forms of books necessary for the academic educational process and the requirements of scientific research, supporting all academic programs and updating these sources according to the requirement of public and private accreditation and local and international quality standards.

2-Cataloging  Division

It is the division responsible for the technical operations of the sources of information necessary for preservation and retrieval operations in accordance with the international standards, plans and programs approved at the university.

3- GENERAL COLLECTIONS & REFERENCES DIVISION

The Division consists of 6 large reading rooms (Book halls (Arabic 1 + Arabic 2 + foreign)), reference hall, special groups hall and seminar hall, where it provides training service for beneficiaries and guiding them on how to use the library consciously that develops their skills to access the information they need in their research and studies in paper and printed sources, as well as providing group counseling service for students in the reference hall, and the seminar hall is used to organize panel discussions, workshops and academic lectures, and it is equipped with a computer, a data show projector, a whiteboard, headphones and a microphone.

4-CIRCULATION DIVISION

It is responsible for providing all loan, return and reservation services, organizing these operations according to the available software, developing these operations, continuous communication with the research community, transferring their opinions and suggestions, and evaluating the level of library services.

5- Databases and Periodicals Division

– Where the periodicals hall includes the numbers of current paper periodicals in addition to the bound periodicals of previous years, a large reading room, & computers connected to the Internet and electronic databases of the university.
– The database laboratory, which includes number of computers connected to electronic databases, a laser printer number 2 and color 1 and a scanner to serve library visitors, and the laboratory provides the service of printing research, copying data on electronic media, guidance and method of research in electronic sources, and developing and updating the library page on the university’s website.
v The laboratory uses EZproxy software to make the university’s databases available to beneficiaries through the library page through the university’s website.
