A Morning Poetry Session
The Faculty of Arts / Department of English Language and Literature at Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a poetry symposium hosting the American poet Phillis Levin, a professor at Hofstra University and recipient of several prestigious literary awards for her poetry collections.
The symposium was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mousa Al-Zghoul, a number of faculty members, and university students, who expressed their admiration for the poet's rich experience and the intellectual and aesthetic insights she presented regarding poetry and its role in expressing the self and humanity.
