Faculty of Nursing, AL-Zaytoonah University was established at the beginning of the academic year 1993 / 1994 in response to the needs of the Jordanian society to nurses at a high level of knowledge and science as well as technical skills necessary to cope with rapid changes in the health field at local, regional or International levels.
In 1996 the faculty was accredited according to the faculties accreditation standards (accreditation body).
Our students enrolled in the faculty are either post-high school (Tawjihi) scientific section, nursing diploma students who hold diploma in nursing and the three-year nursing college graduates (bridging program)
Our graduates obtain the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing after completing (132) credit hours taught mostly in English. The various courses in the nursing faculty curriculum are taught nursing, medical and humanitarian modules to help graduates to practice the nursing profession in all health sectors in Jordan and abroad.
تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد المجالي، رئيس جامعة الزيتونة الأردنية، نظمت كلية التمريض يوما طبيا مجانيا بالتعاون والتنسيق مع عيادات بريمة وذلك يوم الاثنين الموافق 11/12/2023 من الساعة العاشرة صباحا ولغاية الساعة الثانية من بعد الظهر في صالة المطعم المركزي / الطابق الثاني، حيث قام الأستاذ الدكتور طارق القرم، نائب رئيس الجامعة بقص شريط الأفتتاح ثم القى نظرة على الخدمات المقدمة مبديا اعجابه بسير الفعالية وتنظيمها.
نظمت كلية التمريض/لجنة النشاطات والارشاد الوظيفي في جامعة الزيتونة الأردنية نشاطا صحيا تثقيفيا توعويا تحت عنوان " صحتك بتهمنا ", والتي تهدف الى تعزيز الوعي الصحي لدى الطلبة,بحضور عميد شؤون الطلبة الدكتور منير عفيشات ونائب عميد كلية التمريض الدكتور حسن
