The Faculty also dedicates significant attention to serving the local community. Our mission is to prepare highly competent pharmacists who can deliver top-tier healthcare and pharmaceutical services and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and communities. We aim to achieve this through collaborations with academic, healthcare, and industrial institutions, as well as by developing educational and training programs aligned with the latest advancements in pharmacy and health sciences. Moreover, we excel in employing scientific research to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. For over 30 years, the Faculty has been committed to supplying the healthcare sector with highly skilled pharmacists through its undergraduate program, which adheres to global standards and serves the needs of local and regional job markets while keeping pace with diverse advancements in pharmaceutical sciences. Believing in the importance of scientific research, the Faculty has established dedicated research laboratories equipped with highly capable faculty members. We have also signed several agreements with renowned international pharmacy schools to facilitate the exchange of research expertise among faculty members and strengthen research and academic collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy and other sectors. To promote knowledge exchange, the Faculty regularly organizes scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, and scientific days. Among these, the International Pharmaceutical Conference, held biennially at the university, stands out as a significant initiative. In 2011, the Faculty introduced a postgraduate program offering a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This program is designed with a robust 33-credit-hour curriculum to advance academic and research excellence. The Faculty achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the Quality Assurance Certificate in July 2017 from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions. Furthermore, it received the prestigious American international accreditation (ACPE) in February 2020. Community service is a top priority for the Faculty of Pharmacy. Faculty members are encouraged to engage with the community by providing technical advice and specialized support. Students are also motivated to participate in community service and extracurricular activities, fostering their role as active contributors to societal development.
