The Scientific Society of Arab Nursing Faculties was established in October 1998. The office of the Nursing Dean at Al-Zaytoonah University initiated its establishment and asked from the Union General of Arab Universities to host the Scientific Society of Arab nursing faculties at the Faculty of Nursing of Alzaytoonah University in Amman/Jordan on a permanent basis.
Society has now nearly of 82 members from various colleges of nursing in the Arab countries and Society comprises three committees: a committee of scientific research and development, education student training committee and Accreditation and quality assurance Committee also offers annual awards to institutions and individuals peer outstanding works and shall encourage student exchanges and the exchange of experiences between nursing faculties
