At the invitation of Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan and within the vigorous efforts of the accreditation body of the higher education institutions in collaboration with the Jordanian Universities, Prof. Dr. Muneeb Al Sakit accompanied by members of the accreditation body visited the University to help develop and update education and to a quaint themselves with what the University has done in the arrangements for competing for the quality control standards. Dr. Rushdi Hasan / President and deans of the University received them. Then the President briefed them on the University. The visit includes meeting deans of the faculties and representatives. Both sides exchanged viewpoints regarding quality control process and its axes to reach the level that accreditation body seeks to reach to classify higher education institutions by self evaluating each University. Obstacles and difficulties that face the University due to consequent higher education’s decisions were discussed. The President and the Deans` council were briefed by the Head of accreditation body and members of the authority on how to solve all the problems through discussion. President of the University offered the University shield to the Head of accreditation body in recognition of him and his colleagues for the invitation. The delegation inspected different facilities, laboratories, and the University’s library; they praised the standard of the University in providing modern means for the students and providing services for local community. At the end of the visit, the Head of Accreditation Body expressed his gratitude to the University family and wished them more success and prosperity. He promised more cooperation and communication calling for hard work and confirming that the accreditation body is a partner of the University’s institutions not mere observer. It would maintain cooperation with the Jordanian Universities to maintain higher education prestige in Jordan which is receiving care and attention by our commander His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein (God Bless Him).
