Main duties of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office

  1. Supervising the QA file .
  2. Supervising the university ranking file with corresponding parties inside and outside ZUJ.
  3. Supervising the academic accreditation file .
  4. Supervising the academic development file  .
  5. Have a membership with higher committee of QA, submitting Accreditation and Quality Assurance reports, and working on carrying out the committee’s decisions.
  6. Participating in presenting and discussing varies issues related to accreditation and quality assurance in ZUJ council and council of deans.
  7. Identifying key performance indicators for the ZUJ collective performance
  8. Proposing developmental projects to enhance performance and upgrading the university outcomes.
  9. Writing up and editing the strategic and the annual plan and the annual report for ZUJ and supervise its implementation.
  10. Follow-up and evaluating the division of the QA office, accrediting their reports, and taking the required decisions related to their performance.
  11. Preparing the annual plan and the annual report of the AQAO.
  12. Preparing the annual budget of the AQAO.
  13. Preparing and carrying out the surveys and related studies, and have the benefits of the results to improve the services level.
  14. Supervising the documentation room of the AQAO and continuously updating its content, and discarding the outdated documents.
  15. Carryng out any other responsibilities which assigned by the president .
  16. Participating in ZUJ policy planning and follow up its implementation.
  17. To identify the key performance indicators for the university and its facilities .
  18. Contribute in continuous development of ZUJ vision and mission and to assure it’s connection with the vision of AQAO.
  19. Contribute in preparing ZUJ strategic plan and follow up its implementation.
  20. Continuous appraising for the collective university performance and detect the extent of ZUJ mission achievement.
  21. Continuous development of the quality management system of the university and its facilities.
  22. Preparing periodical reports about university performance, and suggest decisions, and required procedure for improvement.
  23. Preparing annual reports for the university  .
  24. Propose developmental plans and projects.
  25. Rooting and disseminating the culture of quality in the campus  .
  26. Activate the collective participation in monitoring and support the quality outcomes
  27. Building quality assurance capacity for faculty members and workers.
  28. Advocate the continuous p improvement process of quality assurance system.
  29. Coordinate the efforts of ZUJ and its entities in the process of preparation and submission of quality assurance certificates.
  30. Follow up the achievement for the general or specialty academic programs accreditation requirements.
  31. Design staff development plans and follow its implementation .
  32. Design plans and procedures to involve students in the quality assurance domain.
  33. Supervise preparation of the annual students’ guide book.
  34. Participate in preparing the annual ZUJ book.
  35. Participate in developing and updating of information on the electronic web site of ZUJ.
  36. Follow up all publications and bulletins issued by ZUJ and its facilities, and acting on promoting them  .
  37. Activate and follow up the graduates’ (alumni) accessing files.
